In an effort to energize participation in the award, criteria have been simplified, and the application process is streamlined. Today the award recognizes the club exhibiting the highest level of activity by members and leaders, membership growth, communications, charitable work in the community, volunteerism and leadership in snowsports, and participation in FWSA convention and travel programs.
