• Join us for an unusual adventure on Mt. Hood.  We will leave our hotel Thursday morning by bus to historic Timberline Lodge.  When we arrive, we will get a tour of the Lodge, built by the Work Projects Administration and dedicated by President Franklin Roosevelt on September 28, 1937.  It has been restored to its original splendor by Richard Kohnstamm (operator since the mid 1950’s) and Friends of Timberline Lodge. 
• After our tour of Timberline we will drive to Government Camp and tour the Mt. Hood Cultural Center and Museum.
• When we complete our tour of the Museum, we will drive to the East side of Mt. Hood for lunch at the unique Crooked Tree Tavern & Grill at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort (owned by Mt. Hood Meadows). 
• After lunch we will drive North to Hood River, OR the home of Northwest windsurfing on the Columbia River.  From Hood River we will drive to Multnomah Falls in Columbia River Gorge.  At 620 feet, Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon and the most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest. 
• We will return to our hotel around 3:00 pm.
