Billy Kidd— Keynote Speaker
Billy Kidd, a descendant of the infamous Billy the Kidd, was the 1964 Olympic Silver Medalist in slalom skiing. Billy later went on to win the 1970 World Championships in Val Gardena, Italy.
Born in Vermont, Billy moved to Steamboat Springs in 1970 and has been giving free ski clinics there for 35 years. Billy is currently serving as Director of Skiing at Steamboat Ski & Resort, CO.
Billy has served on the Board of Directors of Special Olympics International, The President's Council on Physical Fitness, and The Jimmie Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis (currently Can Do MS) in Vail.
Billy hosts corporate ski outings for companies including American Express, Rolex Watch, UPS, American Airlines, Time magazine, Sports Illustrated magazine, and several others.
