Sightseeing Gondolas
  • Banff Gondola, Sulfur Mountain—8 minute rides to 7,486’ located 5 minutes from downtown Banff.  Restaurants, cafes, and interpretive center at the top of the mountain.
  • Lake Louise Gondola—part of the Lake Louise Ski Resort’s array of ski lifts.  Gondola takes sightseers into the alpine to experience the expansive beauty.  From 6,850 feet gaze upon views of Victoria Glacier or take interpretive tour.
  • Sunshine Village Gondola—Ride to 7,875 feet and experience 360 degree view of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
  • Sightseeing Chair at Mt. Norquay—open air ride to summit of Mount Norquay.  Enjoy unique perspective of the Bow Valley.  This is the same chairlift that Marilyn Monroe took in the summer of 1953 while filming “A River of No Return.
