Philippine Airlines has strict size and weight limitations on the carry-on luggage which they are enforcing at the airport more than ever now. Passengers are allowed one carry-on weighing no more than 15 lbs. Total dimensions of the bag (height + width + depth) must not exceed 45 inches with maximum dimensions of 21 in x 16 in x 8 in INCLUDING HANDLES AND WHEELS.

Most normal carry-on bags exceed the size limitations, so it’s best to be prepared. If a carry-on bag exceeds either the size or weight limitations it shall be treated as oversized and will be charged an Excess Baggage Charge (EBC) of $150 each way.

In addition to the free carry-on baggage allowance, a passenger is allowed to carry on-board a maximum of two (2) of any the following items: a small handbag, pocket book or purse; an overcoat, wrap or blanket; a small camera or binoculars; laptop with case; or a reasonable amount of reading material.

For persons with disabilities, the foregoing shall be in addition to the assistive devices that are allowed to be carried for free.

Each person is allowed TWO (2) 50 lb. checked bags. (Total dimensions of 1 piece should not exceed 62 in.). * Total dimensions are measured by adding together the height, width and depth of the bag.
