Optional Activities will meet at the West Village Base Area at Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort. Please make sure to pack a bag with any gear or clothes you may need.

Canoeing the High Cascade Lakes — $60 PP

12:00 Noon – 3:30 PM

Canoe the glassy waters of a pristine mountain lake. Explore the basaltic lava shores, which spilled over Mt. Bachelor’s 9,000-foot slopes, spewing steam as it collided with frigid mountain melt-off from the Three Sisters. A forest walk and later a swim for the hearty can happen on the sandy shores of the lake!

While underway, the guides will share fantastic information on the natural and cultural history of the area. Combined with the magnificence of the landscape, these make for a journey to be long remembered.

Make sure to wear shoes that can get wet and dress in layers. A water bottle is good to have as well as a camera.
